01
The spark
Quick commerce is a race against the clock.
ZipZapZoom delivers groceries, fresh produce, dairy, snacks and household essentials in minutes, from a catalogue of thousands of products.
I designed the brand mark and the app screens, so speed had to show up everywhere, from the icon on a home screen to the last tap at checkout.
02
The challenge
People open a quick-commerce app with intent: they need milk now.
Make a brand feel instantly fast, and an app where finding, ordering and tracking take seconds.
Every extra screen, unclear button or slow search breaks the promise the name makes.
03
The approach
Speed as the design principle.
The same idea shaped both the logo and the interface: remove everything between intent and delivery.
- 01
A logo with motion built in
A bold, italic red “Z” with trailing speed lines reads as fast at any size, from a Play Store icon to a delivery bag.
- 02
Search and reorder first
The home screen puts the delivery address, search with voice input and quick categories within a thumb's reach.
- 03
Make waiting feel short
Live order tracking on a map, clear status steps and push updates keep customers informed after they pay.
04
The work
What I designed
Voice & smart search

ZipPass membership
Free deliveries and member discounts surfaced right on the home screen.
Live order tracking
Real-time map tracking with clear steps from packed to delivered.
Flexible, secure checkout
UPI, cards, net banking, wallets or cash on delivery, plus saved addresses and easy reorder.

- Logo + UI
ZipZapZoom is live on Google Play with the brand identity and app experience I designed.
The red Z and its speed lines carry the promise to every touchpoint, while the UI keeps the path from search to doorstep short.

What I learned
What I'm taking forward
- 01
A strong name deserves a mark that performs it. Motion lines said more than a slogan could.
- 02
In quick commerce, the best UI is the shortest path.
- 03
Post-purchase screens are part of the brand. Tracking is where trust is earned.
